We recommend the Adaptec
1480 SLIM SCSI card for laptops and Adaptec 19160 PCI cards for Desktop
PC's
The
C1, C2 and sometimes the ERR condition LED's illuminate during recording
but Replay is OK
During a recording, these
LED's indicate the quality of recording and tape. In Replay, they
indicate the amount of error correction being applied. Too much activity
can indicate either poor tape or the heads requires cleaning.
How
do I obtain the latest version of "FTrans" software?
What
tapes should I use with my DATaRec Recorder, DAT, DDS1, DDS2 or DDS3
Unless specifically
advised, use DAT or DDS1 tapes. DDS2 & 3 can only be used with certain
